A Tae Kwon Do uniform is a pajama like set of clothing worn for traditional purposes and for more of an ease of training.  There are two types of uniforms that are accepted in this class:

The traditional Karate type uniform (above) which has two sides that are tied together at the waist.

The official ITF V-neck Tae Kwon Do uniform (above.)

Uniforms are emphasized, but NOT ultimately required until you go up for your first rank test.
Then, a uniform is required.  Acceptations may apply, such as tournaments, public appearances, or demonstrations.  Again, this is left up to the decision of the head instructor.

Until then, a student may wear something comfortable to work out in.  Uniforms can be easily bought online.  I would prefer for the students to shop around and buy their uniforms for themselves.    PLEASE NOTE that until a student obtains the rank of black belt, the ONLY acceptable color uniform is WHITE. At times, there may be an acceptation for a black uniform. Though, once again, this is left up to the decision of the instructor.
