My name is Vinaris Mercer Scott.  I am currently a 1st degree (dan) black belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do.  Though, I have 20 years’ experience in taking various forms of other martial arts.  Some of my other experience is as follows:
Brown belt in PaSaRyu Martial Arts- This form of martial arts is (in my opinion) a mixture of mostly Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, and Karate.  My instructor’s name was Hyram J. Moore
Assistant Instructor- I was given this title officially within my training in PaSaRyu.  I also fulfilled this role with Master Leroy Curtis.
Weapons training- During my training in PaSaRyu, I was taught the basic techniques of several weapons such as the sai, nunchakus, escima sticks, and bow staff.  I also earned multiple trophies at tournaments utilizing the sai.
Exposure to Jujitsu and Aikido-  During my 20 years in martial arts and three years’ service in the U.S. Army, I have been taught some basic techniques of both of these martial art, both formally and as part of self-defense type classes.   Techniques include joint locking techniques, holds/break holds, rolling and falling.
